About Me
Matthew Jones
Before becoming a hypnotherapist, I spent over 30 years working in the corporate world.
I understand the pressure many people live under — the constant mental load, the responsibility, the sense that you should be able to handle everything because you always have.
From the outside life can look successful and under control.
Inside, it can feel very different.
Stress builds quietly.
Sleep becomes lighter.
Your mind keeps replaying things long after the day has finished.
Situations that never used to bother you begin triggering anxiety, tension, or self-doubt.
I experienced this kind of pressure myself. Over time it began to show up in my body as chronic pain and persistent stress.
That experience led me to explore how the mind and body are connected, and how deeply held patterns can keep us stuck even when we understand them intellectually.
What I discovered — and what eventually changed my own direction in life — is that many of the patterns driving stress, anxiety and unwanted behaviours operate at the subconscious level.
Which means thinking about them isn’t always enough to change them.
Hypnotherapy works differently.
Rather than trying to force change through willpower, it works with the subconscious mind — the part of us that runs habits, emotional responses and deeply learned patterns.
Today I work with clients in Lincolnshire and online who feel stuck in patterns they can’t seem to shift on their own.
Many are thoughtful, capable people who have already tried to solve the problem through logic, effort or self-discipline — yet something keeps pulling them back into the same responses.
My role is to help people update those deeper patterns so life starts to feel easier again.
Sessions are calm, practical and focused on helping you move forward rather than endlessly analysing the past
Sometimes the most powerful change happens when the mind finally stops working against you and starts supporting the life you actually want to live.
